Who am I?

Welcome! I’m Anna, the creator of Teacher on a Treadmill. I have been working as a teacher in Finland for almost ten years, and I’m particularly passionate about learning and teaching languages. I’m also enthusiastic about fitness, health and exploring other cultures. I also have the unique privilege of sharing my life with my Japanese boyfriend, who also happens to be a professional football player. This means constant adventure and learning as we travel the world for his career. My life is a mix of classrooms, stadiums and airports—never boring, always full of learning!

Why I started this blog?

Teacher on a Treadmill was born out of my love for sharing ideas for teaching, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle no matter where life takes me. I wanted a space where I could combine my professional expertise in education with my personal interests in wellness, cultural insights, and life abroad. This blog is where teaching meets travel, fitness meets fun, and language learning becomes a lifestyle.
